How Body Sculpting Works
The HIFU hand piece delivers focused ultrasound waves to an accurate depth in order to destroy the fat cell. The controlled movement of the hand piece results in a grid of treated fat cells. The high frequency of the ultrasound wave, results in rapid heating of the focal zone at 1.3cm and 8mm under the skin whilst leaving the skin’s surface unaffected. The treatment exposes the fat cells to these high temperatures for 1 second, causing them to be destroyed. As a result, the damaged cells are removed naturally through the lymphatic system, this continues for up to 3 months.
After how many treatments, will I see the results?
This revolutionary body sculpting treatment is a standalone treatment and only requires one session per area. On average, we have seen that visible results are prominent 2 – 4 months post treatment. Given that, this might not be the case as everybody responds differently to the treatment, some clients have noticed visible results immediately.
You can incorporate this treatment with our other body treatments in order to reach your desired body through a treatment plan. Together with 3D Lipo/Ultimate Cavitation or Cryolipolysis, this treatment helps to maximize the results of visible fat reduction. You can also combine this treatment with Radio Frequency – Skin Tightening.
Easy to Take
For approximately 2 minutes, the hand piece is place onto the skin, within this time, the hand piece will focus energy to the fat cells. For each of the areas, this will need to be repeated 3 times within the session. During the treatment, you may feel warmth, it may get slightly hot and uncomfortable. You may also feel a slight vibration although this is completely normal. After the treatment, the area will be sensitive for up to 10 days due to possible bruising and slight swelling.
- Avoid any heat on treated area for 48 hours.
- Avoid strenuous exercise, saunas, steam and jacuzzis.
- This treatment is not suitable for anybody with less than 1 cm of subcutaneous fat in the treatment area.
